Henkel's Leaf-tailed Gecko (WC) $ 135ca SOLD
These unique lizards are native to the forests of Madagascar. They become active at night when they emerge from their hiding places to feed. Their bizarre coloration and body shape blend in perfectly with their forest home. As they sit motionless waiting for prey, Henkle’s Leaf-tailed Geckos (Uroplatus henkeli) adjust their coloration and markings to look like their immediate surroundings.

The Satanic Leaf-Tailed Gecko can easily be mistaken for a pile of leaves. Their tail resembles a dead leaf, flat and colored in earth tones. Fantastic and good looking geckos!

These geckos are capable of going from a super light mossy grayish color with a mossy patern to a tan mossy color with green highlights and then all the way to dark chocolate color with salmon highlights behind the legs. There eyes can cage from a flunky greenish color to a bright silverish color.
